Named after former distillery president Colonel Albert B. Blanton, who always had very special supply of bourbon - his private reserve - handpicked and stored in legendary famous Warehouse H. The Blanton’s brand was launched in 1984 when Elmer T. Lee introduced the world to Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon a year before he retired. In doing so, he revolutionized the industry with the world’s first single barrel bourbon.

Indulge in the exquisite taste of Blanton's Gold Edition bourbon.  Developed as a bourbon for fans of exceptional smoothness and a clean finish to their whiskey Blanton's Gold Edition is chill filtered, aged in a single white oak barrel and dried for 6 months to achieve its exceptional combination of citrus, oak, dark fudge and cream notes. Never blended with other bourbon during its aging process, and periodically sampled by the Master Distiller to confirm the finest barrels, which are left to mature far longer than the average bourbon, the result is this 'super premium' whiskey with the most individual expression.

TASTING NOTES
Dark chocolate, caramel with earthy undertones of walnut and hazelnut on the nose. The palate delivers warm vanilla, oak, toasted nuts and a rich spiciness with hints of butterscotch or honey.
