Chartreuse V.E.P. (Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé) is an ultra-premium, extra-aged expression of the iconic French herbal liqueur. Handcrafted in very limited annual batches by the Carthusian Monks using their secret 1605 recipe of 130 botanicals, V.E.P. undergoes exceptionally prolonged maturation in oak casks. This extended aging results in a remarkably smoother, more viscous, and vastly more complex spirit than the standard expressions. The 1-liter format serves as a collector’s hallmark, presented in a historically accurate replica of the 1840 bottle inside a branded wooden presentation box.
