Dad's Hat Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey Port Wine Finish is a craft rye whiskey bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV) that combines spicy grain notes with fruity sweetness. It is produced by Mountain Laurel Spirits in Bristol, PA, using a traditional Monongahela-style mash bill of 80% rye, 15% malted barley, and 5% malted rye.
Product Overview
This expression is aged for at least six months in charred, new oak quarter casks and then finished for an additional three months in barrels that previously held port wine.
