Fortaleza Blanco Still Strength is a highly coveted, additive-free high-proof tequila bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof). Unlike the standard 80-proof Fortaleza Blanco, this expression skips the dilution stage completely, coming straight from the small copper pot stills to deliver the most concentrated and truest expression of the distillery's traditional process.
The 700ml bottle size has increasingly become the standard package for specific import batches and global market distribution.
The Flavor Profile & Specs
- The Blueprint (NOM 1493): Made using 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave from the Tequila Valley. It is brick-oven roasted, 100% stone-crushed by a volcanic tahona wheel, fermented in open-air wood tanks, and double-distilled in copper pots.
- Nose: Brighter, more rustic, and more vibrant than the classic blanco. Dominated by rich baked agave, green olive, citrus oils, and a clean, rain-on-earth (petrichor) minerality.
- Palate: A silky, mouth-coating texture. Robust flavors of sweet cooked agave, black pepper spice, vegetal layers, and a buttery richness.
