Green River Kentucky Straight Bourbon US Army 250th Anniversary Release

Presented at an Army Strong 111.1 Proof (55.55% alc. by vol.) in a nod Veteran’s Day (November 11), this limited bottling will be available at a suggested retail price of $49.99. Green River’s Army 250th Anniversary edition is a small batch selection of 4- to 7-year-old barrels featuring a distinct mashbill of 77 percent corn, 14 percent rye, 9 percent malted barley. It will be available at select military bases, Green River’s homeplaces in Owensboro and Louisville, and select online and physical retail locations throughout the country.

This full-bodied Kentucky bourbon displays caramel, black cherry, cocoa, and peppermint. The rich mouthfeel of toffee and toasted oak leads to a lightly spiced, bold finish that’s wholly distinct to this official whiskey honoring the U.S. Army.
