Milam & Greene Very Small Batch No. 1 Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a multi-state blend crafted under the direction of CEO and Master Blender Heather Greene. Released in Summer 2023, Batch 1 is a 108-proof (54% ABV) high-end sipper packaged in a 750 ml bottle with an MSRP of $69.99
The Blend & Mashbills
Batch 1 represents a meticulous "barrel recipe" consisting of 75 hand-selected barrels utilizing two distinct mashbills from two states:
- 20% Kentucky Straight Bourbon: Distilled by Master Distiller Marlene Holmes at Bardstown Bourbon Company using Milam & Greene’s proprietary mashbill of 70% corn, 22% malted rye, and 8% malted barley. It was aged for just under 4 years across both Kentucky and Texas.
- 80% Tennessee Straight Bourbon: Sourced from an unnamed distillery, featuring a mashbill of 80% corn, 10% rye, and 10% malted barley
