Old Prentice Single Barrel whiskey Special Release

Old Prentice Single Barrel Bourbon Special Release is a modern craft bottling offered by the beverage alcohol platform Corning & Company. It pays homage to the historic Old Prentice name. 

The bottling shares a name with the legendary Old Prentice Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky (originally built in 1880, rebuilt in 1910, and known today as the Four Roses Distillery). In the vintage bourbon market, "Old Prentice" labels are highly coveted by collectors. This is especially true for the founding-era, 101-proof expressions of Eagle Rare 10-Year Single Barrel that were distilled at the historic facility during the Seagram's era of the late 1970s and 1980s. The current Special Release lineup distributed via Corning & Company also features a sister expression: an Old Prentice Rye Whiskey Special Release, which shares the same 90-proof specification.
