Special Operations Salute D-Day 80th Edition Air 5 year

June 6th 2024 marks the 80th anniversary of “D-Day”, the storied allied invasion of Nazi-occupied France during World War II. The ultimate success of this largest-ever amphibious assault was due to the undaunted courage, resolute tenacity, and selfless sacrifices of D-Day’s valiant warriors.

This limited D-Day Edition Whiskey honors the intrepid airmen of the allied air forces who carried out history’s largest aerial operation, mostly at night and in low cloud cover. Flying directly through fierce anti-aircraft fire in near-zero visibility, these heroes piloted their fighters, bombers, transports, gliders and troop carriers “ON TARGET”, helping to liberate France and turn the tide of the war.
