Teeling Single Pot Still

Teeling Single Pot Still is a landmark release representing the first whiskey distilled in Dublin in nearly 50 years. Reaching beyond standard single malts or grain blends, this bottle revives the traditional "Dublin style" of single pot still whiskey, utilizing a distinctly high ratio of raw grains.

• Mash Bill: A unique 50% malted barley and 50% unmalted barley split. This equal balance hits well above the legal minimum (30% of each), contrasting the sweet, biscuity notes of malted grains against the crisp, herbal, and creamy texture of raw spring barley. [1, 2, 3]
• Distillation: Triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills completely on-site at the Dublin distillery. 
• Maturation Casks: Fully matured in a parallel three-cask blend consisting of 50% Ex-Bourbon barrels, 25% American Virgin Oak, and 25% Ex-Sherry casks
• Proof & Filtration: Bottled at 46% ABV (92 Proof) without any chill-filtration or artificial coloring, preserving an oilier and more robust mouthfeel.  

• Nose: Highly expressive with notes of hibiscus flowers, fresh honeycomb, light citrus peel, and vanilla cupcakes, backed by a soft cereal grain dust and white grape scent.
• Palate: Opens with fresh white peach, poached pear, and lychee. It carries a thick, waxy texture that quickly transforms into an punchy mix of white pepper, warming allspice, and a toasted biscuit undertone.
• Finish: Dry and moderately long, tapering off with lingering pot still baking spices, roasted almonds, and a touch of dark muscovado sugar sweetness.
